Rhyannan Hurst

The style of Rhyannan's jewellery is strongly connected to the environment she lives in. Rhyannan was born by the sea and soon developed a passion for her local beaches and their ever-changing elements. Her designs are purposely made from contrasting materials collected directly from the beach, which are then sensitively captured by precious metals. She has incorporated elements from nature into her jewellery through the process of casting and etching, which has provided subtle textures and interesting surface detail. Rhyannan is currently working on a new range, which introduces slipcast porcelain shapes which are then delicately glazed.
