Annual Carbon Footprint

  • 2020: 8,902kg
  • 2021: 7,764kg

Note: during 2020/2021 the mill building was closed for several months, consequently our footprint for those years was markedly lower than we would normally expect.

For comparison: an average (1.4-2.0l) petrol car emits around 3,000kg per 10,000 miles driven

Courtyard - Vehicular Access

Due to our programme of childrens workshops and our wish to maintain safe, tranquil surroundings for all our visitors the courtyard is closed to all vehicles between 10am and 5pm Tuesday to Saturday and 11am and 4pm on Sundays.

Delivery vehicles etc. may enter the courtyard outside these hours.

Parking

There is a car park right next to the mill. Disabled parking bays are available in the main car park and staff are always happy to help in any way we can.

FISHING: is not permitted within the Mill grounds

Find Us

When driving look for the brown tourism signs for 'Walford Mill'.   Tip: If you ask a Wimborne local for directions to 'Knobcrook Road' you may get blank looks (it is a short and small road!) - try asking for 'Stone Lane' instead, you'll find the entrance to Knobcrook Road just a short distance up from the lower end of Stone Lane.
