Animals in Wire with Helen Godfrey
Monday 8th February, Monday 22nd March, Saturday 1st May or Saturday 21st August 2010 10am - 4pm £32 for the day + Wire* During this one day workshop you will learn techniques for creating a three dimensional small animal form of your choice using wire netting. *Material fee will depend of the amount used, to be bought from tutor on the day. Design a Quilt or Large Wall Hanging with Mary Bird
Tuesdays: 16th, 23rd February, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd March 2010 10am - 4pm £95 for the six week course This course will enable you to design a unique quilt or large wall hanging. We will use inspirational source materials such as photos, an image from a magazine or an object such as tree bark. This course is an advanced course for those who have good patchwork and quilting skills. Colouring Fabrics with Mary Bird
Wednesdays: 17th, 24th February, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th March 2010 10am - 4pm £95 for the six week course A course that covers a variety of methods for colouring cotton and silk fabrics. *There will be a small charge for dyes etc. during the course. Silver Clay Jewellery with Hilary Bowen
Sunday 21st February, Sunday 21st March, Sunday 18th April, Sunday 16th May or Sunday 3rd October 2010 10am - 4pm £35* An exciting workshop opportunity to create your own fine silver jewellery using 'silver clay'. *All tools are provided, but students will be expected to pay for the silver clay they use- typically between £12.50 and £20 depending on quantity. Wednesdays: 21st, 28th April, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th May 2010 10am - 4pm £95 for the six week course A series of six one-day workshops practising advanced patchwork and quilting techniques. Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May 2010 10am - 4pm each day £55 for the two-day course By folding, stitching and cutting cloth a flat surface can turn into a softly sculpted relief. This two-day workshop explores the exciting textural effects that can be created by manipulating fabric.

Saturday 29th May and Sunday 30th May 2010 10am - 4pm each day £120 for the weekend course* Maximum of three people This 2 day course is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to woodturn or to increase your skills. *Suitable timber will be provided but any special requirements for timber specially prepared should be asked for in advance and may be subject to an extra charge. Coiled Baskets with Lois Walpole This workshop will provide a wealth of new and adapted idas for working with a wide-range of free and readily available materials providing the student with the technical knowledge and confidence to enable them to develop their own creativity and unique baskets. Plaited Baskets with Lois Walpole Plaited baskets are found all over the world where the indigenous materials lend themselves to being cut into regular strips and is particularly suitable for working with recycled materials.
