Cloud Nylon: The Jewellery of Nora Fok

September 15th - October 28th

An extraordinary collection of nature inspired jewellery by Nora Fok, one of Britain's leading contemporary jewelers will be showing at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne from the 15th September – 28th October 2012.

With intricate jewellery and headpieces made from incredibly thin nylon thread, the skill shown in Nora's work is sure to amaze anyone with an interest in knitting and fine craft. 






American Gis

1944 We were here - African American GIs in Dorset

June 16th - July 22nd

This ground-breaking collaborative exhibition, in conjunction with DEED and Wimborne's Priest's House Museum, investigates the local links of African American GI's in Dorset.

Women Work in WoodWooden Bowl

24th September - 30th October 2011

A touring celebration and showcase of leading female contemporary furniture designers and makers working in wood, debuts at Walford Mill Crafts, Dorset, on September 24th 2011.
Walford Mill Crafts and Karen Hansen jointly curate this high-quality and debate-provoking touring exhibition, following each artists’ journey from brief, notes, sketches, concept, models to the final pieces.  It will feature work from leading designers including, Tomoko Azumi (London), Karen Hansen (Dorset) and Akiko Kuwahata (Denmark).
