This exhibition considers work that is inspired by or created with fire.
Showcasing the work of 25 makers including ceramics, glass, textiles, print and metal.
Whilst some maker's have created pieces in response to the theme of Fire, consideration is also given to those for whom the ability to work with Fire is essential in the practice of their craft.
Craft and the garden have enjoyed a symbiotic relationship for centuries, providing a continual source of inspiration for both artists and makers.
Colour, texture, shape and the ever-changing seasons unite to provide the perfect muse and evidence of this will be in abundence at Walford Mill Crafts this summer.

Field Days seeks to encourage people living in the South Dorset Ridgeway Area to explore the locality, and to research and increase their knowledge of what is beneath the ground. It aims to increase our understanding of the local heritage, how we might engage with the landscape and environment through the arts.
Following an open call, Artsreach has commissioned 6 artists to respond to an archaeological or geological site on the South Dorset Ridgeway;

This exhibition will also feature the music of Local folk duo, Ninebarrow, who have been commissioned to write 3 contemporary folk songs.

This exhibition marks the start of Walford Mill Crafts' 30th year and is based around the tradition of giving gifts made from specific materials for a particular anniversary.
We will be showcasing a diverse range of perlescent inspired work including print, textiles, jewellery and ceramics.
