Walford Mill Crafts welcomes its annual quilting exhibition this summer.

There will be two exhibitions featuring work by the City & Guilds Patchwork and Quilting students. The first exhibition will be on show in the gallery from July 8 th until July 17 th and the second one will be from July 21 st until July 30 th .

'Quilters - Diploma' shows the individuality of students who have completed Patchwork & Quilting Diploma of the City & Guild course under the tutorship of Mary Bird. These courses have been running at Walford Mill Crafts for 16 years and are well respected in patchwork circles for their progressive and liberal approach to design.

This vibrant work in the exhibition includes innovative quilts, miniature quilts, garments, screens and wall hangings. Each item is uniquely designed and hand crafted using fascinating dyeing and textural techniques.

This exhibition of contemporary patchwork and quilting maintain a consistent high standard that draws more and more enthusiastic visitors every year since its inception in 1992.

Entry to the exhibition is free and is open 10am - 5pm Monday to Saturday,
