Sleeping Mouse Locket Workshop

Please note this is a 3 day workshop 10th, 11th &12th November 2023, Walford Mill, Wimborne, Dorset.

This magical workshop is for all those with some silver clay experience who would like to further develop their skills and knowledge. It is a challenging intermediate/advanced level master class where you will have the opportunity to construct a locket entirely from silver clay.

In this 3 day Workshop you will learn how to ...

Make each component of the locket including hinges.

Build the locket using secure construction methods.

Create a moving bail.

Hand sculpt a little sleeping mouse.

Add embelishments to decorate and make it your own.

Create a clasp and solder a wire for secure closure.

Patinate and polish for a beautiful finish.

Course fee includes a whopping 35g of silver clay and use of silver clay syringe.

At the end of the 3 days you will go home with a beautiful, unique and quirky silver locket. An heirloom piece of artisan jewellery.
