3 Stilts Pottery Workshop

Jane's workshop is a 2.5-hours hand-building clay workshop on Friday 23rd May from 2 to 4.30 pm. There are eight spaces available.

You will make two pots on  stilts covered in drawings and patterns. Jane will take you through the handbuilding skills to make fine and even pinch pots about 15cm high with compressed coil stilts. You will be using a variety of tools, coloured slips and stamps to create patterns, textures and sgraffito drawings on your pots. Jane will take the finished works to her studio in Salisbury to  fire and glaze in her kiln.

The finished pieces can be collected from Walford Mill three weeks after the workshop.
