Botanical Plaster Casting

Learn how to preserve the beauty of nature in a lovely, tactile botanical plaster cast picture. The workshop runs from 11am to approximately 3.30pm and includes all the materials required to make a 6”x6” square botanical plaster cast. During the workshop you will learn how to prepare the clay and frame, how to work with the plant materials and find out how to mix the plaster to fill the clay impression.

Whilst the plaster sets we will break for lunch, then I will show how the piece should be cleaned and finished. You’ll then be able to remove the cast from its mould and be amazed by the delicate details revealed! Please visit my website www.carolinesoer.com for more details and booking
