WALFORD MILL CRAFTS
About the workshop
Our in-house embroiderer Jen graduated the Royal School of Needlework apprenticeship scheme in 2003 after 3 years of intensive training in all aspects of traditional hand embroidery.
Jen Goodwin Embroidery was born in the years to follow, starting with a small range of embroidery kits alongside occasional workshop tuition on a part time basis.
In 2023, Jen was honoured to be part of the Embroidery Studio team at the Royal School of Needlework who worked on a number of items for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, including The Queen’s Robe of Estate, the Anointing Screen, Chairs of State and the Stole Royal.”
Jen's short courses offer the opportunity to work on more in depth projects than a single day class. You can choose from her wide range of embroidery designs or you can develop your own ideas to create a true, one-of-a-kind embroidery.
There are three terms per year, each term is 10 weeks long and whilst the morning group is currently full there are spaces available in the afternoon group.
If you are interested in joining me to develop your embroidery knowledge and skill please email me to secure a place.
