Introduction to Wood Engraving Workshop

This one-day workshop is perfect for beginners looking to learn a new technique, or for those who have done a little engraving and wish to progress their technique further.

You will be taught the principles of designing for wood engraving, methods of engraving into a block of end grain wood, and how to print by hand from your finished block.

Robin Mackenzie is an elected member of The Society of Wood Engravers and has exhibited his work all over the UK.  He creates prints for books, magazines, merchandise and works from his studio in Dorset. For more details about Robin Mackenzie, see his website at http://robinmackenzie.co.uk.

All tools and materials including the wood blocks are provided on the day.

You will receive an email shortly before the course with final details and details of any drawings etc to bring to work from.

The day will run from 10:30am - 4pm
