About the workshop

Come and learn the craft of punch needle, by making your very own Christmas bauble!

Learn the craft of punch needle and make a decoration to adorn your tree in this festive workshop!

Punch needle is a satisfying and relaxing craft that involves using a needle to pull yarn through a fabric, leaving loops in a pattern on one side. This creates a tactile and soft fabric which can then be used to make decorations, cushions, bags and much more!

In this workshop you will make a 3D wreath bauble, to hang straight on the tree when you get home! All materials and your very own punch needle will be provided along with handy instructions for you to take home to continue the craft. Refreshments (including hot chocolate and mulled wine) will also be available.

The workshop will begin by setting up the materials, learning how to use the punch needle and creating the basic shapes. Then, take a break for lunch on our beautiful site ( lunch not provided), before returning to finish off your bauble in the afternoon! If you enjoy the craft, there will be further design packs available for you to purchase and take home on the day.

Join for a festive and craft filled day!
