Illustrator and Designer
After a brief spell as a Graphic Design student at Ravensbourne College at the start of the 1990s, Richard went on to work mostly in logistics. Obviously.
About 25 years later Richard realised it had all been a terrible mistake, and started creating digital illustrations for advertising and websites instead. The chances are, if you’ve read a classic car magazine in the last few years you might have seen one of his adverts (probably for tyres!).
Fun as the commercial work can be, his first love is narrative art, especially graphic novels and bande dessinée.
So, alongside the pictures of old cars, I’ll be making illustrated books and prints at the mill
