Verity Slade is a British visual artist currently based in Dorset. With over a decade of experience as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, she has worked on commercial and editorial projects for clients including the Barbican, The Washington Post and Universal Music. She is a founding organiser of Brighton Illustration Fair and has judged for the D&AD New Blood Awards. As an artist educator, she has led workshops for children and young people to design and create mural projects, and has exhibited as a painter and printmaker - receiving the Artquest LIFEboat Residency Award for painting. Verity has a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts - she is a BA Illustration Online Tutor for Falmouth University and Gallery Manager at GIANT.
