Donna Peters

Portrait exhibition

18th - 29th January 2023

Main Gallery

A tribute to her Majesty, her royal highness Queen Elizabeth II. A body of work dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth II to mark her reign and seven decades of work she carried out on behalf of: the people of the United Kingdom, Commonwealth and the wider world. This landmark exhibition at Walford Mill brings together some of the most remarkable memories of our dear Lillibet in an illustrated print form. The various processes of making a print are explored by American artist printmaker Donna Jean Peters, to celebrate the various ways she contributed to and served the nation. As a much-loved person, held in high esteem and as a constant, one could always count on the Queen to provide comfort and the sense that everything will be alright.

On display will be the artist’s work that documents poignant times of her Majesty’s life through a remarkable series of portraits.

The exhibition celebrates and evidences the love and admiration, that transcends Trans-Atlantically.

“Thank you Ma’am for all you have done and ‘we will meet again’.
