Create Beautiful Wrap Vases & Vessels Spend a relaxed morning or afternoon capturing the delicate detail of seasonal botanicals in clay.

In this hands-on workshop, you will press flowers and foliage into soft clay slabs to create elegant wrap vases and sculptural vessels with richly textured surfaces. Elaine will guide you step by step through the entire process, allowing plenty of time for experimentation and creative exploration.

You’ll learn how to:

● Roll an even slab of clay

● Achieve crisp, detailed botanical impressions

● Shape and wrap your form

● Join securely and add a base

● Refine, tidy, and finish your piece beautifully

Along the way, Elaine will share practical tips, techniques and knowledge to help you get the very best results from your clay. Some seasonal flowers and foliage will be provided, but you are very welcome to bring your own meaningful botanicals to personalise your piece. Your finished work will be enhanced with a natural-toned underglaze wash to highlight the impressions, glazed and fired, and will be ready for collection from Elaine’s studio in Colehill, Wimborne, 3-4 weeks later. If you’d prefer to return at a later date to decorate your piece with colour, this option is available for a small additional charge — simply let us know before you leave your session. Price: £85
