Wet Felting Experience Day

Wet Felting Experience day at Walford Mill Join me for a relaxing, hands-on day of creativity as we explore the beautiful craft of wet felting.  Refreshments are available and lunch may be booked at the Little Pickle Cafe on site (not included in the price) 

We’ll begin by looking at a variety of fibres, discovering their unique textures and properties, and chatting about how they can be blended together. I’ll also show you how to incorporate fabrics into your work to add depth and interest. Once you’re familiar with the wet felting process, you’ll start with a small practice piece to ease into the technique. From there, you can decide what you’d love to make. 

Together, we’ll design a template for your chosen project, and then the fun begins — choosing your colours, fibres, and fabrics to bring your idea to life. 

This workshop moves entirely at your pace. I’ll be right beside you throughout the day, demonstrating each step and offering guidance whenever you need it. At the end of the session, you’ll take home your finished creation(s). They’ll still be damp, so you’ll just need to let them air dry over the next couple of days.
