Many, many years ago, I discovered the delight of working with clay at an evening class in Bournemouth and I immediately fell in love. I had lessons with 4 wonderful teachers over 15 years before setting up my home studio.

I like to keep a mix of throwing, hand building and sculpture on the go using stoneware clay. I am inspired by the daring colours and whimsical shapes found in the natural world. I often use underglazes with a clear glaze to get the brighter colours that I adore. Every finished creation is filled with dedication, passion and joy. I hope my work makes you smile!
