Inspired by the coastline and time spent by the sea,  beach combing along the drift line, my hand crafted artworks are determined by shore found items, with each piece influenced by the unique features and character of the coast. To create framed and diorama seascape art, that uses shore found items and driftwood, with other mixed media, including recycled maps and hand stitching. 

As well as integrating varied creative practices within my work, including map origami and cane or willow woven sculpture. Alongside sewing and reusing fabrics, to make new and usable products, giving a second life to items that can be enjoyed again in the home. 

I enjoy the whole creative process, but I find the repurposing of disregarded items the most rewarding, working with them to create distinctive and unique pieces of art.
