Alan is based near Wimborne, Dorset, UK. He makes all the pieces in his small garden workshop using raw materials and, mostly, traditional techniques.

Alan Williams handmakes individual pieces of jewellery and small metal sculptures, usually from silver, copper, or brass. The jewellery often incorporates precious or semiprecious stones or pieces of Whitby jet.

Alan loves natural history (and did a degree in biology), photography, art - and mushrooms. His sculptural pieces are often inspired by fungal forms.

After many years of doing other things, He is now able to combine his passions in the metal and jewellery pieces he makes.
