Living by the coast in Dorset inspires so much of my work, I have been collecting driftwood from local beaches for over 10 years and creating coastal themed models and pictures. Our lovely coastline also strongly influences my hand drawn screen prints.

My detailed knowledge of Dorset and in particular the Isle of Purbeck acquired over many years has enabled me to represent its landscape, coastline and the human impact on both. I’m known for my distinctive use of colour and a recognisable style of painting. With my abstract work I strive to make sure it is meaningful and that the viewer can relate the picture to the title.
