East Dorset Potters was established in 1979 by a group of like-minded enthusiastic Potters in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. The group is an eclectic mix of full-time and part-time potters, some of whom teach or have retired from teaching and some who are simply interested in ceramics.

To celebrate their 25 year anniversary they have chosen Walford Mill to exhibit a collection of ceramic works from their current members. Also, during Dorset Arts Weeks, which runs from the 25th May to 9th June 2024, East Dorset Potters will be also be providing free demonstrations and instructional pottery workshops (pre-booking and payment required) for all to enjoy!

The live demos will run from May 25th - June 9th and include hand-building, mono printing, carving, throwing, sculpting and impressing clay.
