Both 80s Kids, sisters Melanie Pownall and Caroline Parrott were both raised on making things and climbing trees.

You’ll see Caroline regularly at Walford Mill in Nutty Parrott Studios where she works creating jewellery from her favourite medium, Anodised Aluminium.

Melanie is the power house in the office upstairs that deals with all the nitty gritty or running Walford Mill Education Trust, and in her spare time has a love of elaborate textiles, creating beautiful detailed clothing.

This is the first exhibition combining both their work and they’ve chosen to be inspired by the four seasons to create costumes, sculpture, jewellery and illustrations.
