I like to keep a mix of wheel throwing, hand building and sculpture on the go using white stoneware clay. I am inspired by the colours and shapes of nature so animals often feature in my work. My preferred decorating technique is a mixture of underglazes and glazes. I love the bright colours that can be more easily achieved at higher temperatures with underglaze.
Every piece is made with dedication, love and joy and I hope that shines through in my finished creations. Nothing gives me more delight than seeing my work in people’s houses or hearing about my pots being used.
