Artists and makers from Dorset were asked to submit up to two pieces of artwork that they felt reflected the concept of ‘Home’.

We are delighted with the response from the art community and have really enjoyed looking at and discussing all of their interpretations of the theme of ‘Home’.

Many have visually represented beautiful scenes of peace, portraits of loved ones, landscapes of favourite places and some have explored more challenging concepts of homelessness, the refugee crisis and the displacement of innocent people that currently dominate the news.

Walford Mill would like to thank all of the artists and makers who have taken the time to submit a piece of work to our Open Call and we look forward to seeing what they do next.
