Pop-up studio
Pia Elliot is a pen and ink artist based in Wareham, on the scenic Dorset coast. She draws inspiration from wildlife, a passion nurtured through exploration locally and on her travels. Her intricate, self-taught style explores the juxtaposition between patterned regularity and organic animal forms, creating connections that invite viewers to appreciate nature’s delicate intricacies. This contemporary style is entirely self taught, developed originally as a form of meditative doodling to manage anxiety.
Pia’s works have been featured in galleries across the UK with her BA Hons degree in textiles supporting a wide variety of special projects and commission work. Career highlights include winning the Batsford Prize, solo exhibition ‘Wild Lines’ and contributions to ‘The Great Tail Trail’ in support of Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
