Colourful, light-hearted, whimsical artwork is what I am all about.

I create illustrative watercolour paintings of local scenes literally with a twist, (yes, even Wimborne itself has been given the twisty treatment), along with humourous depictions of pastimes, and traditional children’s illustrations. I have also recently started to develop a collection of quirky and comical paper mache animal characters as a 3 dimensional addition to my range.
I grew up believing I couldn’t possibly be an artist and ended up in a succession of 9-5 office jobs. Life has some twists and turns of its own though, so here I am, an actual “artist”.
I am mainly self taught and have developed a style over the years which has been shaped by observations of the little bit of world around me and a love of books from the Golden Age of Children’s Illustration.
