Exciting Opportunity

Twelve-Month Bursary for an Emergent Maker

Walford Mill Education Trust has been fortunate to secure a bursary funded by The Radcliffe Trust.
This would support a maker through the critical start of a creative career. A successful applicant would have a free space within the fantastic Walford Mill. This would place them in the middle of a creative community in one of Dorset’s foremost creative spaces. Additional funding would allow for mentoring and also support for travel to visit other makers or artists or galleries.
The space available is next to other makers. It is worth noting that this would be more suited to; fine art, jewellery making, embroidery et cetera. Regrettably, the space would not accommodate, for example, furniture making or a metal worker
