KICK-OFF WORKSHOP: PUPPETRY & ANIMATION

Wimborne Town of Culture are kicking things off with a fantastic, free family workshop at Walford Mill! Join acclaimed artists Sarah Butterworth and Tom Hughes for “Any Kind of Beasts” – a workshop inspired by their film Woodland Cathedral.
A Local Legacy: Originally made for Glow Badbury 2023, this film celebrates the history of Badbury Rings and features incredibly work by students from Allenbourn Middle, St. Michael’s Middle, Witchampton First, and Yewstock School. Now it’s your turn to get involved!
At the workshop you will:
• Create your own split-pin puppets – bugs, insects, of any kind of beasts!
• Animate your creations and learn how to bring them to life.
When: Wednesday 18th February | 12pm – 4pm
Where: Walford Mill
Cost: Free! Drop-in anytime! (No booking required)
