Resident Maker, Jen Goodwin, restores the Tarrant Rushton Altar Frontal

A year ago Jen was invited to Tarrant Rushton to talk about a spot of TLC for their Alter Frontal. It was decided that she would transfer all of the embroidery over to a new fabric and stabilise all of the stitching.

Originally worked by the Sarum Group, led by Jane Lemon, this Alter Frontal was worked for the Millennium.

Here is the finished result, it was returned just after Easter and it has been re-dedicated.
