1/10th scale replica of 1950s Wimborne town centre with more than 100 shops, pubs, cafes and its own twin tower Minster all set in NGS listed gardens.  Other attractions include the Model of the Model Town, 00 gauge railway layout, The Wareham Bears and Life Before Lego exhibition, tea room and shop.

Open April – October, 10am – 5pm daily. 

Admission charged.

Exhibits of local and social history including archaeological and ceramics collections, valentine cards, and clothing set in centuries old Grade II * former ironmongers premises with educational group programme available.  Facilities included a local information centre, tea room, garden and bookshop.   

Open  April – October: Monday – Saturday  10am – 4.30pm

Open  November – March: Monday – Saturday  10am – 4pm

With earlier religious settlement on the site, most of the building dates to the 12th century with later substantially restoration. The Chained Library   (open April  – October 10.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00pm - 4.00pm) dates from 1686 and includes early books on gardening, medicine, law, etiquette, and building and Walton’s great Polyglott Bible.

Open Monday – Saturday   10am – 4pm subject to special events

Sundays -  for published services

With an interior built in 1936 as a cine/theatre, the tradition of showing both films and live stage shows continues.   Refurbished and reopened in the 1990s, the theatre is a major local performance venue with seating for 483 people and a licensed bar. It also offers the latest films available with full surround sound.  See website for performance schedule.
